1. How do I buy something?



We are excited that you are wanting to make a purchase and look forward to supplying you, or your business, with our gourmet coffees and other quality products.

  • We have contracted through PayPal, secure credit card processing so that you can submit your personal and credit card information safely.

  • We are still coordinating product delivery directly from our suppliers to your kitchen. Rest assured we will get your coffee to you as soon as possible and at the lowest postage possible.

  • You can take our "Just Try It" challenge, or if you are a returning customer, and

  • If you know that you want a particular roast, go to our products page, place your desired coffee, or coffees, into your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. (As we have offered our "Just Try It" challenge, our guarantee is that the coffee will be fresh and will match its taste compared to another bag of the same roast).

  • We are discussing shipping (including insurance coverage options), with the United States Postal Service(USPS), United Parcel Service(UPS), and Ferderal Express(FedEx). We will use the best shipper for your location and your choice of shipping time.

  • 2. How do I know customer service and satisfaction important to you?



  • Every customer's satisfaction is very important to us. This is why we will fill, package, and ship your order to you just as quickly as possible.

  • If you have any questions you are welcomed and encouraged to contact us and we will reply as soon as possible, but always within twenty-four hours.

  • 3. How will I know you received my order?



  • This is confirmed by emailing you an Order Confirmation to the email address you supplied at the time of your order.

  • If you have not received a confirmation email within 24 hours of your order, please check your spam folder as your email service may have listed your Order Confirmation as spam.
    To avoid this with future orders, please ensure that you add orders@yoursanctuarycoffee.com to your contacts.

  • If you have checked your spam folder and you still haven't received your Order Confirmation, please feel free to contact us.

  • 4. I only received part of my order, did you forget what I ordered?



  • This is where your Order Confirmation comes in handy. If your Order Confirmation listed all the product(s) you purchased, we didn't forget.

  • If you do not receive all the product(s) in your order, it may be that it was better for us to ship your product(s) separately. This is so that you will receive a portion of your order in the quickest time possible.
    NOTE: When we choose to do this, and there is an additional or a higher cost of postage, we will absorb these costs.

  • We will provide a tracking number when one is provided to us.

  • We will always ship your product(s) according to your request and payment. Although, we ask that you please consider that the carrier may have experienced difficulties.

  • It may be that we have experienced a problem, or the product(s) is/are on back order (our supplier is out of stock). Should this occur, we will inform you via the email address you provided.

  • Please allow one (1) additional week for the remaining product(s) in your order to arrive before contacting us.

  • 5. I received something I didn't order, did you ship it to me by mistake?



  • If you receive any product(s) that you did not order, remember that some items are included as a free gift. These items are: selected items from A Sanctuary Gift Shop as a thank you for you patronage. We will include a notation of this on the packaging or packing slip.

  • If you have received any coffee product(s) in your shipment that you did not order, (other than samples) please email returns@yoursanctuarycoffee.com.

    While we try to ensure that every order is accurate, understand that mistakes do happen. We will correct any error that we make just as quickly as possible. Be sure to use "Extra Items" as the subject line.

  • 6. I'm not satisfied with my order, can I just send it back?



  • We will be happy to replace the product(s) you ordered, or offer you a refund according to our guarantee and return policies.
    You may not even need to return the product(s) that you ordered
    (this is often the case with smaller orders).

  • With this in mind, if for some reason you are not satisfied with any product or products you ordered, please DO NOT return the product(s), without first contacting us to obtain a RMA (Return Merchadise Authorization) number.

  • In order to prevent confusion of why an item is returned to us, our return policy states that we will not accept packages that that are returned without a RMA (Return Merchadise Authorization) number on the outside of the package. We will include an RMA # in the email that we send you asking that you return the product, and in certain circumstances we will enclose a pre-paid shipping label.

  • If we provide you with a return shipping label, we may use the least expensive shipping method possible to help reduce our costs.

  • Once we receive the product(s) being returned, we will issue a refund according to your method of payment.

    * Credit card orders will have a credit applied to them, and money orders will be sent for those who used any other form of payment.

  • 7. How do I know that your site and my credit card information are secure?


  • At this time, all transactions are made through PayPal. Transactions that use an electronic coupon or discount code use the software provided by E-JUNKIE (as PayPal features do not allow them) however, your credit card number and billing information are submitted through PayPal's secure site.

  • PayPal is recognized as a worldwide secure site and financial transaction institution.

  • Inquires regarding their system's ssl (secure socket layer), encryption methods, and overall security should be submitted directly to PayPal .

  • 8. I want to make a purchase, but I don't have a credit card, is there another way that I can pay?



    * At this time, we have not implimented an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) due to the additional costs involved.

    * If you live in the USA, we will accept Cashier's Checks, or U.S. Postal Money Orders, and we MAY chose to accept Personal Checks as alternate forms of payment, but are not obligated to do so.

    * If you are using an alternate form of payment do NOT use the regular check out procedure.

    * Instead, email ONLY your order to us at orders@yoursanctuarycoffee.com with No Credit Card in the subject line, and we will reply with the total price of your order, including shipping (and taxes if applicable).

    * Please include the following information in your email:
  • A listing of each product desired
  • The quantity of each product desired
  • The person the product is being shipped to
  • The address the product is being shipped to
    (Please be sure to include City, State and Zip Code)

  • We will reply as soon as possible, with your total, including shipping (and taxes if applicable).

  • After you receive our email with the total for your order,

    please make the form of payment payable to:

  • 9. What is the difference between Your Sanctuary Coffee and Your Sanctuary?



    Because of financial limitations, there are several sites that are hosted together on (www.asanctuary.net).

    A method of support for these sites was needed. Some other sites had either advertisements or asked their members to support it. A better idea was needed.

    Many people are buying and drinking gourmet coffee these days and so using coffee as a possible source of income was decided.

    But what to call it. A name was needed for this company that is hoped to finance these sanctuaries, and so it was decided. Your Sanctuary Coffee, a coffee so good that when you drink it you are in your sanctuary and supporting A Sanctuary as well.

    10. If there are many sites on A Sanctuary, and "we" is used all the time, is A Sanctuary a big company? Are they all non-profit? Who runs or operates them all?



    A big question with a long answer.
    There is:

  • asanctuary.net = A Sanctuary - Main site.

  • asanctuary.net/yoursanctuary = Your Sanctuary - an inter-active forum.

  • Your Sanctuary Coffee - where you are.

  • and survivorofabuse.org = Survivor Of Abuse.

    1. A Sanctuary is not a big company. A Sanctuary came about as the result of an individual not being able to find a site for survivors of abuse or assault that did much beyond giving statistics. This person had lost their sister who commited suicide after she was raped.
      They wanted to create a place that would be reassuring and a refuge for anyone that had been a victim of abuse or assault and started out primarily as a three page site that had a page with calming music and soft pictures that created a sense of safety, a safe place if you will.

    2. Once A Sanctuary was built, it wasn't enough, and this person went in search of other survivors so they wouldn't feel alone. Found a couple of forums, but they were black and white like prisons. You were either in, or you were out. If you comply absolutely with the rules, you are in. If you break a rule, you are banned for life, and never allowed to return!

    3. And so, they created a forum called Your Sanctuary was created with a method of limiting access, instead of banning someone, forever. A appeal process was also created so that it would be fair. Finally, a place that was forgiving but still safe. So many have been rejected, so many times, that they learn to hide their truths.
      They were a handful of survivors, with only broken shards of crystal, the crystal that had been their pure and innocent spirits (the innocence that their attackers had crushed) , now trying to rebuild themselves with goals, to once again find their hopes and dreams.

    4. The "one" that operates it all, is not one but many. It is too much for one, so there were and are many that have come forward to help. There are Administrators, WebMasters, Publicity Specialists, Electronic Media Publicists, Helpers, the list goes on.

  • 11. Your sites seem like important causes. Is there a way I can make a donation or support your sites without purchasing a product?



  • ABSOLUTELY! There are both financial methods and also non-financial methods and ways to offer support to either
    A Sanctuary or Your Sanctuary, or both.

  • Being an international site can have challenges and create many needs, from international promotional services to translations.

  • Feel free to email A Sanctuary and tells some of your skills.
    We're sure that we can fit you in, and you will feel the rewards, sense of accomplishment and goodwill when helping others.

  • Financial re-embursments are always welcomed and appreciated. If you would like to support our sites financially, you can "donate" as little or as much as you like. Just click here.

  • We are looking into incorporating and becoming a non-profit organization. Yet, at this time the expenses are prohibitive. Once that is done, we will always recommend that our financial supporters consult their tax professional for information regarding tax deductable contributions.

  • 12. I see it all the time, but what exactly is shipping and handling? I know what shipping is, but what is handling?



  • Shipping and handling is a combination of charges. Things that take time or cost money.

  • They are:

    packaging the ordered product(s) in a box to ship

    addressing the box,

    going to the shipper,

    filling out the necessary forms,

    and lastly there is the shipping charge.
