7 - Encouraging Videos for Survivors
A brief description of the video is provided, yet we have no way of knowing
what you will find "triggery" and recommend that if you start feeling un-easy, please stop the video and come back another time when you feel stronger or have a supporter with you.
All videos must be approved by A Sanctuary's administrative team.
We will be embedding the videos and have no control over the video's availability.
You can submit a video by emailing a brief description of the video to
webmaster@asanctuary.net with "video suggestion" in the subject line.*

Tenative Description - This video and song bring together:
our struggles {the attack}
(At times life is wicked and I just can't see the light),
our resilience {we are survivors}
(A silver lining sometomes isn't enought to make some wrongs seem
right),
and our hope {we're not alone, not anymore}
(But I know I must go on, Although I hurt, I must be strong,
Because inside I know that many feel this way)
--> As Survivors, we can do together more than we can ever do alone
(by offering each other
a thumb to wipe away a tear,
a hand to lean your head into,
a shoulder to cry on when we must,
a smile of encouragement after we fight our way through "the storm",
and when we emerge out of it, we have grown).
A single tear rolls down his cheek,

(a promise we are sure that many survivors have made, and most kept)
* some Christian content, though no strong.

Description - Once again A Place For Healing has created a two sided video.
It is for both survivors and for those that care for them.
This video encourages you to (report if you can but get counseling if you can't)
so you can resolve your trauma.
Return to your full, or entire self, instead of being broken and feeling "less than".

This video contains footage of Smiles Alot (from Dances With Wolves) being struck by a US Soldier. Sadly, he never smiled after this confrontation. Reclaim your innocent smile.

as with YouTube LLC, if we are contacted by another and it is discovered that your video suggestion
is a copyright infringement, we will remove the video (instead of muting the audio).
Further;
1) if an individual submits videos that are copyright infringements more than twice (2) times we
will no longer accept video submissions from that that individual
2) if a member submits a video that is a copyright infringements we will remove the video and make
an entry in their profile. If a member submits videos that are copyright infringements more than four
(4) times, we will not accept video submissions from that member for the period of one(1) year
3) as a matter of embedding the video you suggest, you agree to hold A Sanctuary harmless and bear
the responsibility of any video you create that results in a copyright infringment.
If you did not create the video in question then the responsibility lies with the creator of the video.
In any case, A Sanctuary is not and will not in no way be responsible for any consequences, legal,
monetary, or otherwise whatsoever.
